Yes, absolutely. The maximum central subsidy is ā¹78,000 for systems of 3kW and above. This is credited directly to your bank account after successful installation and net meter connection.
Renters need written consent from the property owner to install solar panels. The subsidy is given to the person who owns or has legal right to use the rooftop.
After net meter installation and inspection, the subsidy is credited within 30 working days directly to your bank account linked with your DISCOM account.
Minimum system size is 1kW for residential connections. The subsidy is ā¹30,000 for 1kW and increases with size up to a maximum of ā¹78,000.
